Do you love lángos (fried bread) but they leave your stomach upset? Do you want something that makes you feel good even in summer and fits perfectly into your diet? Try this fit and no‑frying version that will fill you up and be ready in 20 minutes! You top it with whatever you like. We chose the classics and topped it with ketchup, cheese and lots of garlic! 🤤

Per 3 portions

Dough:
  • 200 g wholegrain spelt flour
  • 1 egg
  • 50 g semi-fat quark
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tsp ghee
Topping:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tbsp low sugar ketchup
  • 3 slices 30% edam cheese

Instructions

  1. Oven-Baked LangošIn a bowl, mix the flour, curd, eggs, sugar, baking powder, a pinch of salt, melted ghee and milk.

  2. Knead the dough well and then shape it into 2‑3 pancakes on a baking sheet and bake at 180 °C for 20 minutes.Oven-Baked Langoš

  3. The pancakes can also be fried in a non‑stick pan with a little ghee, on both sides, until golden brown.
