Why did we start Vilgain?
🗑️
There are a huge number of products on the market that do more harm than good.
💸
Big corporations push a false agenda about the benefits of their products through manipulative advertising.
🙍🏻‍♀️🙍🏻‍♂️
As a result, people are worn down and have trouble keeping their bodies functional and their minds sharp.
🔥
This realization prompted us to develop Vilgain® to create healthy and truly beneficial products.

Okay, I'll check them out. 👀
Hmm thanks, realistically how can this affect my health?
Numerous studies have confirmed that consuming processed foods can have a detrimental impact on our bodies. The primary reasons for these negative effects are the low quality and excessive processing of the ingredients used in these foods. Moreover, as mentioned earlier, the lack of satiety, high levels of refined sugars and oils, flavour enhancers, and other additives can further worsen these health concerns.
I don't want to scare you, but I'm attaching some studies below to help illustrate.
  • Weight gain and obesity
  • Cardiovascular disease and high blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Increases the risk of cancer

Emphasis on the product,
not on false advertising

Colourful packaging with attractive advertising and snappy copy. All products with offensive ingredients have these three things in common. Their manufacturers are subtly manipulating you into buying a product that does nothing for your body. Don't choose based on flashy packaging. Read the ingredients and eat what has the potential to improve your life.

Only quality ingredients with clear provenance

The only thing you can make from crappy ingredients is a crappy product. That's why we are extremely careful about the location and supplier of our ingredients. Here are just a few examples of many:
Oatmeal from Finland
The cold Finnish climate and eco‑agriculture is absolutely ideal for growing oats. The soil here is clean with a minimum of fertilisers. Our flakes are certified as glyphosate‑free.
Tea Vilgain Matcha from Japan
The volcanic soil gives matcha tea its high micronutrient content. It is grown in the shade and only the best leaves are hand‑picked. It is ground into a very fine powder for a creamy consistency.
Juicy sardines from the Adriatic Sea
Warm waters with rich biodiversity provide ideal conditions for sardines. The fishing area is far from industry, so the waters are clean.
Fresh hazelnuts from Piemonte
This Italian region boasts an ideal climate for hazelnuts, and growers take great care in cultivating and harvesting. A maximum of 500 bushes are grown per hectare to ensure that the hazelnuts are nutrient‑rich.
Grass‑fed Whey Protein from the Netherlands
Free‑range cows on Dutch pastures = more ethical farming and better quality milk with higher fatty acid (omega‑3) content.
Coffee beans from Peru
Our coffee beans are always harvested and freshly roasted by the top Peruvian coffee farmers, the care they take delivers the unmistakable taste of excellent coffee.
Olive oil from the Rethymno area of Crete
The olives from the koroneiki tree (king of the olive trees) are carefully processed by a traditional family company into extra virgin olive oil.
Select meat from ethically farmed Czech farms
The finest Czech butchers, no leftovers of God knows what like factory farms. Incomparable in taste and quality.
Canadian maple syrup with a rich complex flavour
The local cold spring days create the perfect environment for maple sap production. It is sourced sustainably - so that production is viable for the long term.
RAW unfiltered honey from CHKO Jeseníky
Honey is nature’s golden gift, but it is so easily contaminated. That's why we harvest it raw and unrefined from the purest sources in our country.
Tomatoes from sunny Italy
The Mediterranean climate, the fertile, nutrient‑rich soil and the traditional gentle processing methods guarantee the most delicious tomatoes. Our tomatoes are hand‑picked and slowly dried in the sun.
Coconut production from Sri Lanka
The tropical climate creates optimal conditions for growing coconut palms. As a result, our coconut products are bursting with juiciness, aroma and flavour.
Fleur de Sel from Greece
The salt crystals from the clear waters surrounding Mesolonghi are carefully harvested by local farmers on warm summer evenings. They offer a crunchy texture that dissolves quickly in the mouth and are not chemically cleaned.
Basil pesto from Liguria, Italy
The warm, sunny climate and fertile soil create the perfect place to grow basil with its exceptionally intense fresh flavour and aroma.
