Per 4 portions
- 500 g beef mince
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 red bell pepper
- 400 g tomato puree
- 400 g cannellini beans
- 2 tbsp tomato puree
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- salt
- pepper
- chive
Instructions

Start by chopping the onion, garlic and red pepper into small pieces. Drain and rinse the beans.

Heat olive oil in a saucepan and add the beef mince until it starts to brown.

Add the chopped veggies and fry until tender.

Once the vegetables are soft and the onion is translucent, pour in the tomato passata, tomato paste, drained beans and season according to your taste.

Bring to a boil, then lower the heat and leave it to simmer for 20‑30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

Season with salt and pepper, and if you think it's too thick, add a little bit of water or stock.

To serve, sprinkle with chives. Serve it with toasted bread, rice or potatoes.Enjoy!
