Per 2 portions
- 300 g cod fillets
- 500 g potatoes
- 30 g plain flour
- 1 egg
- 50 g panko breadcrumbs
- 15 ml avocado oil
- salt
- 80 g plain yoghurt
- 30 g pickle
- 10 g dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- salt
- pepper
- fresh herbs
- 200 g fresh peas
- lemon
Instructions
-
Cut the potatoes into chips, mix with a tablespoon of oil, season with salt and transfer them to baking paper and into an air‑fryer. Bake at 200 °C for 10 minutes at first, as they will take longer than the fish.
-
Prepare three bowls. Put flour in the first one, crack an egg into the second one, and put breadcrumbs in the third one. Lightly salt the fillets and then gradually coat them in the flour, egg, and breadcrumbs.
-
Whilst the fries are baking, mix yoghurt and mayo in a bowl. Add finely chopped gherkins, mustard, and chopped herbs you like. Season with salt and pepper, and mix well. Refrigerate.
-
After the fries have been cooking for 10 minutes, place the coated fish in the air‑fryer, over the fries. Spray lightly with oil and bake for 10‑12 minutes, until the fish is golden and crunchy.
-
When the cooking time is almost up, cook the peas in hot water or in the microwave. Plate the fries, fish, a bowl of peas and a bowl of the tartare sauce. Drizzle with lemon juice and enjoy!
