Healthier air-fryer fried cheese

Fancy a fried cheese but don't want to make one because you're watching your diet? No problem! At home, you can prepare a more balanced no‑frying version, which has much fewer calories. We've also added ham, which ups the protein content. So? Will you try the fit version of this classic?🧀

Fried Cheese:
Serving:
  • 2 potatoes
  • pizza seasoning mix
  • salad mix
  • cherry tomato
Dip:
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Greek yoghurt

Instructions

  1. Start by coating the ham and cheese in egg and then panko breadcrumbs.

  2. Spray everything with a little olive oil and put it in an air‑fryer preheated to 200 °C. Bake together for about 10 minutes, turning the cheese around after 5 minutes so that it is nice and crispy on all sides.

  3. Prepare the side dish - baked potatoes with your favourite spices, salad of your choice and a dip of homemade mayo and yoghurt.
