Potato recipes

Potatoes are a typical Czech side dish that can be prepared in a million ways – from jacket potatoes, boiled, baked or mashed potatoes to fries and mashed potato. From a nutritional perspective, potatoes are especially ideal for diets, because when compared in their dry state, you can eat almost 5 times more potatoes than cereals for the same amount of energy. They are also a good source of vitamin C and other micronutrients. Although they contain relatively little protein, the quality is high – among other things, they also contain all BCAAs.

If you find classic potato preparations a bit boring, you can take them to a new level with less traditional recipes. Don’t miss out on, for example, baked potatoes with minced meat, the viral roasted potato salad or hasselback potatoes.
