Still have some leftover pumpkin? How about turning it into deliciously crunchy fries that are ready in no time? They are great as a side dish or a healthy movie‑time snack that you can enjoy with your favourite dip.

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220 °C and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Wash, halve and deseed the pumpkin. Chop it into fries. and make sure they're roughly the same size, to make sure they cook evenly.

  3. In a bowl, toss them with some olive oil, making sure they are coated equally.
  4. Add the garlic granules, sweet paprika, ground black pepper and sea salt. Mix well.

  5. Transfer the fries onto the prepared baking tray. Don't crowd the tray.
  6. Cook them in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Flip them around halfway through the cooking time.

  7. Add some rosemary or thyme for the last couple of minutes. 

  8. Season them to taste before serving. Serve them as a side dish or a snack with your favourite dip.
