If you love porridge, but you're also more of a savoury person, we've got a recipe that combines both. This is an easy recipe for a tasty savoury porridge which works great as a breakfast, or a lighter lunch when you're in a hurry. Another bonus is that it will keep you full for hours.

- 45 g carbohydrates
- 24 g fats
- 24 g protein
Per 1 portion
- 1 tsp ghee
- 30 g rye flakes
- 20 g oats
- 1 cup water
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch garlic granules
- 30 g 30% edam cheese
- 1 cup baby spinach
- 1 egg
- 1 drizzle avocado oil
- 1/2 whole wheat tortillas
Instructions

Fry both the rye and regular oats with a little bit of ghee.

Once the oats are aromatic, pour in water and lower to heat to medium.

Whilst the oats are simmering, fry an egg in a separate pan.

When the oats are soft, add the grated cheese, baby spinach and season well.

Serve the porridge with the fried egg and drizzle with a little bit of olive oil. You can also add a wholemeal tortilla cut into triangles, or your favourite rye bread.
