Love tacos, halloumi cheese and summer barbecues? 🌮 So how about combining all this together and making halloumi tacos with sweet chilli sauce? The nice crispy mini pizza base is perfectly complemented by the herby dip, juicy spicy cheese complemented by a tangy onion chutney and all topped with lightly aromatic parsley. We've prepared a version that may not be for everyone, it's quite spicy, so if you're not a fan of these dishes, add a mild sweet chilli sauce and omit the onion chutney. 🌶️

- 8 mini pizza bases
- 200 g halloumi cheese
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 6 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 4 tsp onion chutney
- fresh herbs
Instructions
-
Start by making the herb dip. Mix Greek yogurt, chopped fresh herbs to taste, a little salt and pepper.
-
In a dry frying pan, toast both sides of the mini pizza base.
-
Cut the halloumi cheese into thin slices and place in a pan with a little olive oil. Fry for a while on both sides, depending on how browned you like it.
-
Then add the sweet chilli sauce and let it simmer for a while. Keep stirring and turning the cheese so it doesn't burn.
-
After about three minutes, take it off the stove and start serving the tacos.
-
Put a spoonful of herb dip on the toasted mini pizza base, a slice of halloumi cheese, top with sauce, add onion chutney (if you don't like spicy food, skip it) and finish with chopped fresh herbs.
-
Then just fold and enjoy!
