Falafel pita

Another one in the series of quick and cheap recipes, and it's falafel pita this time. A simple affair that will save you a lot of time, but still tastes amazing. This falafel is easy to make, just use our Vilgain mix. Add it to a pita with anything else you like or currently have in the fridge, and voila – you have a quick and easy meal to go. Let's make it together!🥙

PIta:
Sauce:
  • 4 tbsp plain yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp dijon mustard
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Let's start with the falafel – add olive oil and water to the mixture, and leave it to stand for 5 minutes. Wet your hands and form balls from the mixture. Bake in an air fryer heated to 190 - 200 °C until golden.

  2. Top the pita with the sauce from yoghurt, mustard, salt and pepper. Add chopped lettuce, tomatoes, falafel and some more sauce.
  3. That was fast, wasn't it? Enjoy!
