Dumplings:
  • 150 g rice semolina
  • 1 egg
  • 250 g curd cheese
  • 9 apricots
Topping:
  • 50 g poppy seeds
  • 10 g golden cane icing sugar
  • 200 g apricots
  • 1 tbsp wildflower honey

Instructions

  1. Apricot Dumplings with Poppy SeedsFor the dough, mix cottage cheese, rice or plain baby semolina and one egg. You can put it in the fridge for a while to make it easier to work with.

  2. Then divide the dough into 9 pieces and shape into round patties. Put a small apricot without the stone in the middle. Bring the dough together and form a dumpling.

    Cook in boiling water for about 10 minutes.

  3. Mix the ground poppy seeds and cane sugar in a bowl and coat the dumplings in the mixture while still warm.

  4. Serve the dumplings on top of the remaining cooked apricot, which can be sweetened with a spoonful of honey.
