- 400 g beef mince
- salt
- pepper
- oregano
- garlic granules
- onion granules
- 1 egg
- 2 ml olive oil spray
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2 tbsp plain flour
- 515 ml beef broths
- 1 tbsp curd cheese
- 200 ml milk
- 2 tsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- nutmeg
- salt
- pepper
- 100 g frozen peas
- 2 tbsp cranberry compote

Start by preparing the balls - mix all the ingredients together, the amount of spices is up to you and your taste preferences. Let the mixture rest for 15 minutes, then form the balls and bake them in an oven preheated to 180 °C for about 20 minutes.

In the meantime, prepare mashed potatoes - boil and mash the potatoes with a little ghee, milk and salt to taste.

The iconic sauce is not to be missed - heat the ghee in a pan, add the flour and stir thoroughly to avoid lumps. When the mixture is golden, gradually start adding the stock, again stirring thoroughly for lumps. Add the cottage cheese, milk and dijon, stir and finish with the soy sauce and nutmeg. Let simmer until thickened.

Then just serve the balls with mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry compote and buttered peas.
