There are only three minutes and seven ingredients separating you from your dream chocolate cake. Don't be fooled by its sinful looks. This protein mug cake has zero sugar, oils or flour. It works as a fully‑fledged breakfast or a snack.

Instructions

  1. Mash the banana using a fork.

  2. To make the preparation as easy as possible, mix all the ingredients in the mug. 

    Pick a larger mug so the cake won't run over.

  3. The microwave cooking time depends on its power.

    For optimal results, we recommend you start with one minute on full power. During the cooking, check that the mug cake isn't running over the edge of the mug.

    If the batter is too liquid, place the cake back into the microwave and heat more in 15 seconds intervals. Make sure the cake isn't too dry either.

  4. You can top the hot cake with a dollop of peanut butter and chocolate chips that will melt on top.
