It never gets old to start your day with a bowl of fluffy porridge. Do you agree? But let's make it more interesting this time. You'll still be using your favourite oats with all their nutritional value. Which recipe from our series of "Oats three ways" are you going to try today?

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.

  2. Pour hot water over the oats and leave them to rise for 10‑15 minutes.

  3. Cut 9 slices off the banana and mash the rest.

  4. Add the mashed banana, egg, chia seed, cinnamon and protein to the wet oats and make a batter. Finally, add the blueberries.
  5. Pour the batter into a baking tray lined with baking paper, top with the banana slices and bake for 30‑35 minutes.

  6. Serve with yoghurt, fruit or whatever you fancy.
