Homemade Chai Latte

Preparation time: 10 min.
Comments
Are you spending half of your salary on Chai Lattes from coffee shops? Try making one at home! It will take you 10 minutes and cost you a fraction of the coffee shop price. You can use high‑quality ingredients and, most importantly, avoid super sugary syrups, usually used in coffee shops. We simply used a high‑quality black tea, aromatic spice mix, fresh milk and (optional) honey as a sweetener.☕️

Instructions

  1. Add a high‑quality black tea and Chai Latte spice mix to the strainer part of a teapot. Pour over boiling water at 100 °C and leave it for 2‑5 minutes.

  2. Meanwhile, make a milk froth from warm milk. We recommend using oat milk for the best taste, but it's ultimately up to you. We also used dairy milk.

  3. Pour the brewed tea into a mug, optionally add a little honey, and top it with milk froth. You can sprinkle some more of the chai latte spice mix on top. Enjoy!
