Do you love bubble tea, but don't want to drink only sugar and ingredients whose origins you don't know? Or do you want to save some money? Why not make it at home? Sure, it looks complicated, tapioca might not be available... Well, here's a recipe for the quickest and easiest drink that won't give you a sugar crash, can be flavoured a little differently each time and will give you a kick of energy thanks to the quality matcha used. 🧋

Shop ingredients

Nutrition (1 serving) approx. 500 ml of drink

  • 48 g carbohydrates
  • 2 g fats

Tapioca:
  • 250 ml water
  • 25 g tapioca pearls
  • 3 tbsp strawberry prebiotic topping

Instructions

  1. Bring 250ml of water to the boil (generally, the amount of water should be 10‑12 times the amount of tapioca pearls). Then add the tapioca pearls and cook them for about 15 minutes until they are almost transparent.

  2. Turn off the stove, cover with a lid and let it finish cooking for about 5‑10 minutes. While the tapioca pearls are still warm, add the topping and stir well.

  3. Then just prepare the matcha with water and start layering in the glass: tapioca pearls, sliced strawberries, whipped oat drink and pour the finished matcha over everything.
