Cottage cheese chocolate protein dessert

Preparation time: 5 min. (+leaving the chocolate to firm up in fridge)
Comments

If you're reluctant to imagine sweet cottage cheese, you need to try this recipe. If you mix the cottage cheese with a hefty dose of high‑quality cocoa and maple syrup, it turns into incredibly smooth, airy, and rich cream. But we saved the best for last – a crunchy dark chocolate layer with sea salt flakes on top that you have to break through. It's ready in five minutes and has amazing macros too. 💪🏻

Instructions

  1. Using a high‑performance blender, mix a whole pack of cottage cheese, cocoa and maple syrup. Mix on high speed until there are no lumps and the mixture is smooth.

  2. Transfer the chocolate mousse to a glass or small bowl and smooth the top with a spoon.

  3. Melt the dark chocolate in a microwave or water bath.

  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the chocolate mousse and spread it evenly over the top. Sprinkle with salt flakes.

  5. Place the glass in a freezer for 10‑15 minutes (or into a fridge). Once the chocolate is firm, you can take a spoon, break the top and enjoy the dessert!🤤
