Per 12 portions
- 120 g wholegrain spelt flour
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 130 ml milk
- 60 g sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
- 1/2 tsp onion granules
- 1/2 tsp salt
- pinch pepper
- 30 g ghee
- 100 g cheddar
- 100 g bacon
- 40 g of bacon granola
Instructions

Mix all the dry ingredients - flour, baking powder, sugar, seasonings, salt and pepper.

Add egg, milk, melted ghee and sour cream to the dry mixture. Mix to form a batter. If it's too thick, add more milk.

Dice the bacon and fry it until it's crunchy.

Add the bacon and grated cheddar to the batter.

Prepare your muffin tray. Either line it with muffin paper cups, or grease it.

Fill the cups with the batter. It should make 12 muffins.

Top it with bacon granola.

Bake them at 180°C for 20 minutes.

Leave them to cool before serving.
