You'll love this smooth Mug cake, aka lava cake. It's ready to impress in just a couple of minutes with the help of our Vilgain mug cake mix. You can't go wrong, especially if you serve it with some Greek yoghurt or fresh fruit.

Instructions

  1. In a mug, mix our protein mug cake mix and water and leave it to sit for a minute. The mug should be about half‑full.

  2. Add a piece of chocolate and put it in a microwave for 3 minutes at 800W. Watch it so nothing leaks out over the edge.

    👉🏻No microwave? No problem. You can also make the cake in the oven. Heat it to 180 °C and bake for 10 minutes. Each oven and microwave is unique, so make sure the mugcake doesn't overflow.

  3. Take the mug out carefully, using a tea towel (be cautious and avoid burns). Tip the cake out onto a plate and decorate it with some yoghurt and fresh or freeze‑dried fruit. 

  4. Enjoy!
