2 portions
- 600 g chicken breast
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp onion granules
- 1 tsp garlic granules
- 1 tsp sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- salt
- 1/2 onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 250 ml chicken broth
- 200 g sour cream
- 30 g parmesan
- salt
- pepper
- chive
- parsley leaves
- 1 kg potatoes
- 250 ml milk
- 50 g butter
Instructions
-
First, marinate the chicken – mix olive oil and seasoning in a bowl.
-
Cut the chicken into thicker slices. Score them with a knife, so they absorb the marinade better. Rub the marinade on both sides of the chicken and fry in a pan.
-
Remove the chicken from the pan.
-
Using the chicken juices, fry the onion and garlic until golden brown.
-
Pour over the stock, add the sour cream and leave it to cook until thick.
-
As a last step, add the Parmesan, herbs and lemon (if you want) for a zestier taste.
-
Transfer the chicken back to the pan and cover it in the sauce.
-
Serve it with your favourite side dish – we chose mashed potatoes and green beans with butter, which we can highly recommend.
👉🏻Peel and quarter potatoes and then boil them in salted water. Drain the potatoes and whilst they're still hot, mash them in the saucepan. Slowly whisk in warm milk and pieces of butter. Add salt. You can also add grated nutmeg, if you like. Using a little bit of butter, fry the beans on all sides until they're tender, adding salt and pepper.
-
And that's it! Enjoy!
