These balls are juicy with strong flavour from tofu and the tomato sauce. Simply add some tagliatelle, and we guarantee this will be your go‑to meal on busy days. They're super easy to make!🧆

Per 4 portions
- 3 carrots
- 1/2 packet tofu
- 250 g plain flour
- 1 tsp cornflour
- 1/2 tsp garlic granules
- 1/2 tsp sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- basil
- 250 g sugo basilico
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 onion
- salt
- ghee butter spray
- 250 g tagliatelle
- 15 g parmesan
- Italian seasoning blends
Instructions

Wash, peel and chop the carrot into big chunks. Then cook them in boiling water.

Once the carrot is soft, drain it and leave it to cool down.

When it's cold, mash it together with the tofu, using a fork or a blender.

Add the flour, starch and seasoning, and mix thoroughly.

Using a saucepan, bring water with a drop of oil to a boil. Meanwhile, shape the dough into balls with a diameter of 2 cm.

Add the balls to the hot water, and cook them for 10 minutes or so, stirring occasionally, until they float to the surface.

Drain the balls and prepare the sauce.

Using a small amount of ghee, fry the onion and garlic. Add the tomato sauce and a splash of the pasta water.

Mix well and then add in the balls.

Serve the balls and sauce with tagliatelle cooked according to instructions, and cheese.
