Per 8 portions
- 100 g plain flour
- 50 g butter
- 30 g sour cream
- 3 carrots
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 80 g of plum butter
- golden cane icing sugar
Instructions
-
Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl.
-
Add the grated carrot and melted butter.
-
Work it into a dryish dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave it in the fridge for half an hour.

Roll the dough thinly. Using the bottom of a mug or glass, cut circles.
-
Place one teaspoon of the plum jam into the centre of the circle and fold in half (creating a parcel).
-
Press the edges tightly together, using a fork, to avoid the jam leaking. Wash it with egg and bake at 175 °C for 12‑15 minutes.
-
Leave the parcels to cool and then dust them with some powdered sugar and serve. Enjoy!
