If you're in the mood for strudel, but don't want to fuss with the dough and wait for it to bake - this dessert is for you. Sweet apples, fragrant cinnamon, crunchy granola and cottage cheese with a load of protein will create your strudel "substitute" in a fit version. Plus, it comes in a jar, so it' s perfect for travel, work or as a quick snack or breakfast.

  • 250 g light curd cheese
  • 30 g cinnamon protein powder
  • 200 g apple
  • 25 g honey
  • natural stevia drops
  • 60 g protein granola with apples and cinnamon
  • cinnamon
  • 10 g pecans

Instructions

  1. Start by crushing your favorite granola in the bottom of a glass. We used our higher protein, apple cinnamon flavored granola, which pairs perfectly with the strudel dessert!

  2. In a bowl, mix the cottage cheese with the stevia drops (the amount depends on how much you sweeten, a few drops will do). Stir in the protein and spread the cottage cheese mixture over the granola in the glass.

  3. Cut the apples into cubes and simmer lightly with cinnamon, a little water and honey. Cook until the liquid honey part reduces to a caramel consistency. Allow to cool.

  4. Then just layer the apples on top of the cottage cheese, sprinkle with nuts or top with your favourite topping. So enjoy at home and on the go!Apple Dessert CupApple Dessert Cup
