  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 200 g bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp marjoram
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 500 ml water
  • 2 tbsp plain flour
  • 2 tbsp 12% single cream

Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes.

  2. Dice the bacon, peel and finely chop the onion and garlic.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and cook the bacon, onion and garlic. Add the diced potatoes, cumin, marjoram, salt and pepper and mix well. Add water, put the lid on and cook on a medium heat for 20 minutes, until the potatoes are tender.

  4. In a separate bowl, mix the flour and the double cream and then add it to the pan with potatoes and bacon. Mix well and simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
  5. And voila, the farmer's potatoes with bacon are ready! Enjoy!
