Fluffy Easter bread is an irreplaceable part of the Czech Easter tradition. This one is a perfectly fragrant version with orange zest, plenty of dried fruits and crunchy pistachios. We've also added some of our buckwheat honey inside, which is rich in nutrients and gives the bread a unique taste. Try it with us!🤩

Per 1 portion
- 500 g plain flour
- 80 g cane sugar
- 250 ml milk
- 10 g dried yeast
- 150 g sušených meruněk
- 50 g sušených švestek
- 30 g pistachios
- 25 g of blanched almonds
- 100 g butter
- 20 g pohankového medu
- 5 g salt
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp orange peel
- 1/2 tsp kardamonu
- 0,4 tsp vanilla powder
- 1 egg

Instructions

In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, yeast, salt, cardamom, and vanilla.

Add lukewarm milk, egg, melted butter and honey.

Using a kitchen blender, mix everything for at least 10 minutes.

Whilst it's being mixed, add the chopped nuts, chopped dried fruit and orange zest.

Leave it to rise in a warm place for 1‑1,5 hours.

Create a big bun or braid it according to the video instructions. Wash it with egg, sprinkle with sugar cane and nuts, and bake it at 160 °C for 40‑50 minutes.

Once baked, sprinkle it with some caster sugar and enjoy!
