What happens if you combine two popular and delicious desserts? Banana bread tiramisu! A simple dessert that is nutritionally balanced. The combination of protein and caffeine means it fills you up with energy, too. If you use a pre‑made banana bread from Vilgain stores, as we did, you are done in a couple of minutes. If you don't have a store near you, you can make banana bread according to our recipe or use a banana bread mixture.

- 15 g protein
Per 6 portions
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- pinch salt
- 250 g semi-fat quark
- 30 g native goat protein with vanilla flavour
- 6 slices vilgain banana bread
- 100 ml coffee
- cocoa powder
Instructions
-
Make stiff peaks from the egg whites and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg yolks with maple syrup until you have a light‑coloured, creamy foam.
- Mix the quark with vanilla protein until smooth.
-
Add the stiff peaks and egg yolks to the quark mixture.
-
Place the first layer of banana bread at the bottom of the tin. Pour the cooled coffee over the bread to moisten it, then spread the quark cream on top.
-
Repeat this with more layers – banana bread, coffee, and cream. Top it with high‑quality cocoa powder.
-
Refrigerate for at least four hours, ideally overnight. This lets the banana bread soak up the coffee and the cream to set. Enjoy!
