These homemade strips are everything you want from a proper chicken strip! Crispy skin, juicy meat and no overcooked oil. The panko breadcrumbs make them beautifully golden and crispy, while the cooking in an air‑fryer means they're lighter, cleaner and without a ton of low‑quality oils. Plus, you know exactly what you're eating and where the ingredients came from. So next time you're craving this classic, don't wait for delivery and make it yourself. 🚀

Per 4 portions
- 800 g chicken breast
- 180 g plain yoghurt
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 200 g panko breadcrumbs
- olive oil spray
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Instructions
-
Wash and cut the chicken into medium‑sized strips. Dip them in the yoghurt and spice mixture. Leave in the fridge for at least two hours. This will make the meat tender and juicier.
🤫You can skip this step if you're in a hurry, but we recommend it for a stronger flavour and juicier texture of the meat.
-
Coat the strips in the panko breadcrumbs (or crushed cornflakes). Put them in a hot air fryer, spray with olive oil and bake at 200 °C for about 15‑20 minutes (turn the strips halfway through).
-
Serve them with your favourite sauce or in a tortilla.
