  • 1 packet puff pastry
  • 90 g ham
  • 90 g 30% edam cheese
  • 25 g cream cheese
  • pinch himalayan salt

Instructions

  1. Spread out the puff pastry and cut it in half. Cover one half with the fresh cheese, ham and cheese.
  2. Cover it with the second half, make sure it's evenly covered and press down carefully. Then cut the dough into 7 stripes.

  3. Create the trees by folding the dough stripes into a tree shape, starting with the widest part at the bottom. Insert a wooden skewer in each tree (full length) and then place them on a tray lined with baking paper.

  4. Bake it at 190 °C  for 30 minutes. Once they're cool, cut some cheese into star shapes and place it on the top of the tree. You can garnish them with parsley leaves, as a decoration.
