Per 12 portions
- 400 g ready-to-eat black beans
- 200 g curd cheese
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 80 g cocoa powder
- 150 g cane sugar
- 3 eggs
- 60 ml olive oil
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch salt
- 250 g curd cheese
- 50 g cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 175 °C and line a tray with baking paper.
-
Using a blender, mix the black beans to a smooth puree.
-
In a big bowl, mix the black bean puree, curdcheese, melted chocolate, cocoa, cane sugar, eggs, coconut oil, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt until smooth.
-
In a separate bowl, mix the curd cheese layer ingredients: curd cheese, sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
-
Pour three‑quarters of the chocolate and bean layer into the baking tray. Spread the curd cheese mixture evenly over it.
-
Top it with the leftover bean and chocolate mixture.
-
Using a toothpick or a wooden skewer, make small holes in several places, so the layers can mix and create a marble effect.
-
Bake in the preheated oven for 25‑20 minutes or until the brownies are firm on the outside, but still slightly wet inside.
-
Leave them to cool in the tray, then place them on a rack and cut them.
Enjoy!
