Vilgain Ghee - a long‑lasting butter suitable for roasting
Vilgain Ghee or butterfat is made from classic butter that comes from Czech and Slovak farms. The over‑oiling process removes water and milk proteins and is also suitable for lactose intolerant people.
One of the main advantages is the high smoke point (250 °C), so that it does not burn during roasting and frying and no harmful substances are produced. You can use it to soften dishes or as an ingredient in sweet desserts. It adds a pleasant nutty aroma and creaminess to the food.
Ghee is more durable than conventional butter and does not go rancid as easily. You can store it at room temperature for up to 3 months and in the fridge for up to a year.
