Per 1 portion
- 500 g plums
- 200 g dark chocolate
- 100 g cane sugar
- 50 g cocoa powder
- 100 ml almond drink
- pinch salt
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
Instructions
-
Wash the plums thoroughly, then stone them and cut them into smaller pieces.
-
In a small saucepan, bring the plums to a boil together with some sugar. Simmer on a medium heat until the plums are tender and start to fall apart, releasing liquid.
-
Pour the plum mixture into a blender and mix until smooth.
-
Melt some high‑quality dark chocolate (we used 80% cocoa) in a water bath.
-
Add the melted chocolate to the plum mixture. Add cocoa, almond milk, salt and vanilla extract, and mix well until you have a smooth and creamy paste.
-
Pour the plum Nutella into glass jars with a lid and leave it to cool and firm up in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
Store it in a fridge and use it within a week.
-
You can serve it on toasted bread, in a porridge or yoghurt, or use it as a cake icing. Enjoy!
