What to do with coconut milk?
Coconut milk is obtained from the flesh of the coconut and is mainly a source of fats – you’ll find about 20 g per 100 g of product, although the exact amount may vary from product to product. Coconut milk is a natural part of Asian cuisine, so you can use it to perfect these dishes at home. It has a sweet and exotic flavor and a creamy texture that you’ll especially appreciate in sauces or desserts. Moreover, it is suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and people with lactose intolerance or an allergy to cow’s milk protein.
You can use coconut milk, for example, in chicken curry by Oliver Pape, the viral pasta with caramelized onions, or creamy pumpkin soup with coconut milk. But it shouldn’t be overlooked in sweet recipes either, such as moss cake, frozen vegan slices, or Maxi King dessert in a jar.
