Deglet Nour, or “date light,” is a premium variety typically from Algeria or Tunisia. They are characterized by a amber‑golden to brownish skin and, unlike Egyptian Medjool dates, do not have a sticky consistency. In terms of taste, they are less sweet with a delicate smooth profile and honey undertones.
They are harvested in autumn, by hand. Afterwards, they are pitted and packed. Produced in small batches for maximum freshness.
They are suitable as a snack during the day or on the go, in porridge or granola. Blended into a paste, you can also use them as a base for homemade desserts.
Dried pitted dates 100%.
