Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate - reviews
I have to admit that this product really tastes very high quality. I used to have proteins from other brands, which don't even come close to this one. It's smooth, doesn't form lumps, and tastes excellent.
Dissolves very well, no lumps. Perfect for drinking with just water/milk or as an addition to other dishes (yogurts, etc.). The taste is very good. No bloating after using it.
Excellent, the taste is excellent but if it were just a little bit more vanilla, it would be absolutely top.
I chose this protein because it is easier to digest, as the classic concentrate used to make me feel unwell. I can say it’s great, but when mixed with water it is transparent—not milky like the classic one, so you need to get used to that, as well as to the more pronounced taste of stevia in my opinion. I drink it half with milk and half with water and it’s great.
Uff, I really didn’t expect to be this disappointed. The protein has a truly terrible taste. I’m not a fan of the aftertaste of stevia, which unfortunately is the most commonly chosen sweetener, but as a diabetic I at least appreciate that the protein contains no sugar (even though there are much better types of sweeteners that also don’t affect blood sugar levels and don’t have that artificial aftertaste). What bothers me more about this protein, however, is the very intense smell of whey, which, combined with the barely noticeable vanilla, unfortunately reminds me of the smell of vomit. I tried the protein once and prepared it with water, but I’m not sure if using milk or mixing it into porridge would help. Very disappointing, this was my first time buying protein from Vilgain and I’ll probably go back to other brands I usually use, as I’ve never encountered this issue before.
