Today I tasted the vanilla flavor, and as much as I was looking forward to it, I was in for a big disappointment. First and foremost - the taste, in 250ml of milk 30g of protein has zero flavour. I have no idea what went wrong. The packet smells beautifully of vanilla, inside there are black bits probably from the vanilla pod, which of course are also floating on the surface when stirred, it doesn't matter but since they are floating there I would expect some of that flavour. Secondly, there is no creamy consistency. I've tested on both cow's milk and plant milk. In both cases, after churning, the milk is in its original state, not even "bubbling, foaming" like I was used to with the others. Plus it contains quite a lot of sugars (I know, sweetened) and this again compounds my problem - it has absolutely no taste.
I'm really puzzled by this, and wondering, since I didn't read this in the product information, if and how it differs from the other Vilgain proteins? Because in both consistency and taste it is nowhere near the other products. Thank you.
I also wonder what is the difference between this protein and other Vilgain proteins...

We currently offer 3 types of protein - Grass-Fed Whey Protein and Grass-Fed Whey Protein Isolate is made up of whey from free-range and grass-fed cows, as opposed to Vilgain Whey Protein. However, all proteins are sweetened with stevia and retain the authentic taste of natural vanilla, which is why you'll find vanilla pod particles in the protein. Compared to conventional proteins that are sweetened with artificial sweeteners, the taste may seem less pronounced. For each type of our protein, a new overview table has been added to the e-shop, which specifies the individual ingredients that make each protein different from each other. Hello Theresa, the basis for Vilgain Grass-Fed Protein is whey from free-range and grass-fed cows. As opposed to Vilgain Whey protein, which can be a great partner for a first introduction to protein. Thanks for asking :).

Hello, in the last package I received (vanilla) I got some black lumps in a large amount. In the previous packages there was nothing like this, there is no change in the composition either... Is this okay?
