Black gold from South American Peru
This exclusive single origin coffee is sourced from the picturesque mountains of Peru, where it is carefully processed by the washing method and dried in the sun. Single origin means that all the beans come from one place, resulting in unique coffee characteristics and notes that reflect the place of origin. It is grown by small‑scale farmers in forested areas at altitudes above 1,200 metres above sea level, using natural compost instead of chemical fertilisers.
Roasted with love in a Prague roastery
The roasting process changes the beans' texture and colour and gives them their final flavour. That is why roasting requires great experience, knowledge and equipment. Our coffee is roasted by masters in the field in the local Prague roastery Aromaniac with a long tradition. Roasting takes place a maximum of 7 days before packaging using a gentle hot air method.
And what does fresh roast mean? The coffee is prepared in small batches, so it is always fresh. But remember that it must be prepared no earlier than 10 days from the date of roasting. This will prevent unwanted sour or bitter notes from being extracted into the final cup of espresso.
Strong notes of nuts and chocolate
Get ready for a harmonious symphony of flavours. Our Peruvian coffee will give you a full‑bodied and expressive body that blends notes of dark chocolate and nuts, complemented by a light fruity acidity and a charming citrus aroma.
The coffee is tuned to make the best espresso. Ideal for brewing in a lever or automatic machine, but suitable for any espresso‑like preparation: use a moka pot or perhaps an aeropress.
