Jasmine Green Tea – Chun Hao – loose tea with a floral aroma, gently dried in the sun
Vilgain Jasmine Green Tea BIO - whole creamed green tea leaves with a delicate scent of jasmine flowers
Vilgain Jasmine green tea made from unfermented leaves of the Camellia sinensis tea plant will offer you a lot of natural benefits in addition to its delicate floral aroma and delicious taste. For our tea, we have chosen the popular higher grade of Chun Hao or "Spring Fluff " jasmine tea - a high quality leaf with a large proportion of tips scented with jasmine flowers.
Lower oxidation and even flavor release
The tea leaves are first hand‑picked and then sun‑dried. They are then shaped into bells or beads. This process slows down their oxidation so that the leaves retain a higher content of essential oils and other active ingredients. As a result, the flavours are released gradually during infusion and the infusion always has a harmoniously balanced character.
Floral aroma
After the leaves have been picked and dried, the tea is layered with fresh jasmine flowers. This gives the leaves a delicate spring aroma. The flowers are removed after the process to prevent them from becoming bitter. The infusion thus has a pleasantly herbal, grassy‑sweet taste with a characteristic jasmine note that evokes a soothing atmosphere.
The ideal drink for moments of tranquillity
Jasmine green tea is popular for its delicate flavour and distinctive aroma of jasmine flowers. Thanks to its caffeine content , it helps to increase alertness and improve concentration. Jasmine tea has a long tradition in Chinese culture, where it is sought after as a drink for moments of calm and relaxation. Recent scientific studies also suggest a positive effect on blood pressure regulation and cardiac activity [1,2].
