Vilgain English Breakfast Tea – full‑bodied strong taste, rich in caffeine and antioxidants
Vilgain English Breakfast Tea - a selection of loose leaf tea with an intense flavour
A blend of black teas mainly from Assam and India. Your morning will start with a strong and distinctive taste that will excite your taste buds and body. But if you'd like to mellow it out, feel free to have it with milk - just like in Britain. It's made from the youngest, finest leaves, hand‑picked and then carefully sorted. This ensures maximum quality and the perfect flavour profile of the tea. It is the complete opposite of Darjeeling black tea, which is more delicate and balanced.
Gentle processing
After harvesting on tea plantations in Northeast India, the leaves are left to oxidise. This activates enzymes and changes the colour and flavour. The longer the leaves are oxidised, the darker the resulting tea. After oxidation, the leaves are rolled and dried to remove the water, thus consolidating the flavour and aroma in the tea.
Energises and aids digestion
Black tea is a source of caffeine, so it boosts energy and alertness. It also contains antioxidants that protect the body from damage caused by free radicals. It can also improve digestion and promote proper metabolic function.
