Do you love tapioca pudding or other gluten‑free desserts? Then tapioca pearls will be a great kitchen helper for you. Tapioca pearls are made from the starch of the tubers of the Manioc bush, which is grown in the lower and middle regions of Myanmar. The tapioca starch is then granulated into small pearls, 2‑4 mm in size, which can absorb water and swell.
A base for gluten‑free pudding and other delicacies
Tapioca is naturally gluten‑free, so even coeliacs can enjoy it. Thanks to its delicate aroma and neutral flavour, tapioca can be used to make the familiar pudding or other sweet desserts, or simply as a thickener.

Suggested use:
- Rinse the pearls under running water and soak in 3 parts of water, after swelling add three parts of milk and sweeten.
- Cook the mixture with constant stirring until thickened as a pudding, pour into bowls and decorate with your favorite fruit or chocolate.
