From fresh Italian tomatoes

The tomatoes come from the pristine area of Mugello, nicknamed the “green lungs of Tuscany.” The unique conditions give the tomatoes a distinctive flavor, which is not affected by any pesticides or GMOs. In the purée, you will find only fully ripe tomatoes, which are sieved and gently blended to a smooth consistency.

How to use passata?

Thanks to its more liquid consistency, passata is basically a ready‑made sauce. We recommend seasoning it with basil or rosemary, and you can also add cheese or meat. There are simply no limits to creativity. It is perfect for all kinds of pasta or gnocchi.

Production with respect for the environment

Fully ripe tomatoes are hand‑picked and, thanks to the proximity of the fields to our processing plant, they can be processed within 24 hours of harvest. Compared to regular passata, ours retains much higher freshness and flavor, and this also reduces the environmental impact. The entire production process also uses green energy.
