I bought this hoping it would be similar to the pancake mix from Frontrunner, but unfortunately, it’s not even remotely close. I have no idea how you’re supposed to make a pancake (or even a small fritter) from the resulting batter. I followed the instructions exactly, but the dough is so incredibly dense that however you “plop” it onto the pan, that’s how it stays—it’s absolutely impossible to spread it out, it sticks right away, and burns extremely quickly. The taste would probably be okay, but the preparation is enough to give you a nervous twitch. With sadness, I remember Frontrunner—the pancakes there practically made themselves.

Tastes really good, I mainly bought it for waffles, the batter doesn't stick and they come out easily. I recommend it.

Finally, a breakfast that delights me and keeps me full.

I have nothing to criticize about the natural flavor, the pancakes are lightly and pleasantly flavored and moist, but the chocolate is a disaster... I have no idea why, the thin pancakes were burnt on the outside and raw and runny on the inside, the batter didn’t rise at all, quite the opposite, and it was absolutely inedible, so the whole thing ended up in the trash...

The batter is indeed denser, but personally I don't mind at all. Very well balanced and tasty in terms of flavor. Vilgain pancakes with strawberry topping are ideal.
