Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix - reviews

I have batch L32291. The batter does not work according to the instructions – it is too thick for pancakes and cannot be spread on the pan. From the waffle maker, the waffle is completely dry and also so stuck that it cannot be removed. So it seems the issue with the batches still persists and unfortunately does not only concern those mentioned in the product description. Otherwise, the ingredients would be great and I like the taste of the natural variant.

For pancakes, the mix is more or less unusable; the chocolate ones are either burnt or completely raw, the cinnamon ones are a little better, but need to be diluted a lot. The cinnamon mix, when diluted by eye and not according to the instructions, is excellent for waffles; the chocolate ones are either undercooked and can't be removed from the waffle maker, or if they're cooked through inside, they end up completely hard and crunchy like a wafer.

The batter, if you manage to get it out of the waffle maker, tastes great, but it’s literally impossible to remove. I tried three times, then used more oil, a different oil, and still couldn’t enjoy my waffles.

I don't know what you changed, the batch I bought in October 2025 was great, but now with the order from March 2026 I have the same experience as other reviewers – the dough sticks terribly. I worked with it the same way as before – a little oil brushed onto the waffle maker, but I almost had to chisel the result out. That never happened to me before.

The dough was terrible. It was extremely difficult to work with and sticky. It stuck everywhere, even though I sprayed ghee or oil beforehand. :/ I won’t buy it again for 400. Please bring back the Frontrunner High Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix – that dough was perfect!

Tastes great, but I agree with the reviews, they are very difficult to work with.

The dough is easy to work with. You just need to use less so it doesn’t overflow from the waffle maker. The natural flavor isn’t very strong, but that’s what I expected. I buy it repeatedly.

It stuck to the non-stick waffle maker incredibly, even after greasing, and the taste was really not good.

I do not recommend it!!! The dough is stiff even when I prepare it according to the instructions. I had several packs before and never had this problem, but now? The dough is stiff, it sticks, and it’s not as tasty as it used to be. Waste of money, and you used to have more flavors—Aktin has gone downhill with several products!!!
