Vilgain Organic Maple Syrup - natural sweetener obtained from maple sap
A traditional sweet delicacy from Canada, with a typical maple flavour and aroma, which is suitable for flavouring and sweetening omelettes or pancakes as well an addition in porridge, on yoghurt, or for making your favourite desserts.
Maple sap, concentrated into a sweet syrup
The syrup is made by drilling holes in mature maple trees, from which sap flows into prepared containers. The sap thus coiled contains about 97 % water, which is then evaporated to produce a syrup with a typical amber colour and maple flavour.
Grade A, high quality maple syrup with an Amber colour
Our maple syrup bears the Grade A designation, which is used for very high quality maple syrup. This quality syrup is milder in flavour and also lighter in colour than other types of maple syrup. In addition, our syrup also boasts organic certification, where care is taken to ensure that the coiling of the sap doesn't disturb them and the trees are not endangered by bottling.
